Project Manager

Minimum 10 years' experience managing hard money general contract and design-build construction projects. Engineering degree and experience with Water, Wastewater, and other Public Infrastructure projects preferred but not required.

Project Engineer

Entry Level

Estimator – Self Perform Civil / Site Trades

Weiss Construction is looking for the right individual to join our estimating group at our company headquarters in Novi Michigan. This is a high-profile position with excellent growth opportunity. This position will require the individual to work collaboratively with our senior management developing construction cost estimates for the lump sum General Contract and Design/Build delivery of water and waste-water infrastructure. The projects we pursue include the renovation and new construction of water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, storage reservoirs / retention basins, water transmission facilities and waste-water conveyance systems.

This individual will be responsible for developing cost estimates for the civil /site work that we self- perform. The required areas of estimating competency include:

  • Structural Concrete
  • Excavation and Grading
  • Structural/Selective Demolition
  • Site Utilities

In addition to self-perform estimating, this individual would be responsible for work scope development and solicitation of subcontractor pricing for the balance of the civil / site and architectural work required for the project opportunities we pursue.

Computer based estimating skills required.  Knowledge of HCSS Heavy Bid and Primavera P6 software beneficial.
